I’ve been assembling and keeping statistical records for years now. It’s the basis of how I practice my real estate profession. My world history teacher in 10th grade at Lyman High School in Longwood Florida would find this very hard to believe, but for me, especially when working with a prospective buyer (in my best James Earl Jones narration), “It’s hard to understand and talk intelligently about the present without having knowledge of the past.”

Now, while I’m nearly certain my history teacher would call shenanigans on this profound change regardless of the 26 years that have passed since. I do believe my math teachers all the way through college would vouch that this perceived seismic shift has nothing to do with history at all, but more to do my love of math and the stories they tell.
From an investigation standpoint: follow the math and you’ll solve the crime. From a publishing standpoint: tell a story and you’ll have a reader. From a real estate perspective, I believe both hold true.
