I just got off the phone with the Wailele Ridge Sales Office needing to obtain follow-up information for a client that is interested in the new West Maui development. And for those not familiar, Wailele Ridge is an upcoming 158-unit 1, 2, and 3 bedroom community developed by the Bach Corporation, funded by Wells Fargo, and planned for the bordering area of Napili and Kapalua (just mauka of Napilihau Road). When Are Sales Going to Start?
As usual with Maui, things are taking a little longer than expected, but there is nothing to worry about. I was told a sales trailer is on site, signs are up, and sales and marketing materials, including pricing, should be available to the general public by next month. As of today, there is no specific date.
How Can I Purchase?
Unit selection will follow a lottery system with all interested buyers’ names being drawn from a bowl to select their unit. There will be 3 separate drawings to breakup the 1, 2, and 3 bedroom buyer pool. Exact unit prices have yet to be disclosed.
The first lottery, or Phase 1 lottery group, is only open to first-time homebuyers, primary residents, or second homebuyers. Investors will have to wait. 🙂 No assignments will be allowed without developer approval.
How Can I Enter the Lottery?
Interested buyers do not need an initial deposit to enter the lottery. Just meet the buyer requirements stated above and come with pre-qualification letter or proof of funds to purchase. Once condo documents are drawn, additional financial and contractual commitments will need to be met.
