After more than 3+ years of coconut wireless speculation regarding the highly anticipated Kahoma Village project in Lahaina, I can pass along the affirmative that the new development of 203 affordable and market value homes slated for the west side of Maui will be offered for sale as early as September 30th.
If you did not attend the “Informational Event” at the Royal Lahaina ballroom this past Saturday hosted by the Honolulu developer, then here is a brief summary:

- 81 classified as market value homes – named Courtyards & Carriage Ways Homes
- 101 of the affordable properties are townhome Villas
- 20 remaining affordable properties will single family Courtyards

Models Offered
Town Homes Villas – These 2 and 3 bedroom units will only be offered to those people/families qualifying under the Maui County workforce requirement. Official floor plans, square footages as well as WF financial requirements were not released. Prime Lending is the exclusive lender on this project for all of the Workforce financed purchases.
Courtyard Homes – 49 market value and 20 affordable homes with 5 floor plans available. Plans 1-3 are 3-bedroom models ranging (1,116 sq ft-1,404 sq. ft.) and Plans 4 & 5 are 4 bedroom/2.5 bath models (1,564-1,588 sq. ft.). Courtyard homes are situated on the perimeter of the 22-acre development with 4-homes sharing a common, but private driveway/cul de sac entry point – all exterior styles are described as Plantation & Craftsman.
Carriage Ways Homes – 32 single family market value properties with 3 different floor plans being offered (Plans 6, 7 & 8). Two of the floor plans are 3 bedroom/2 bath (1,537 sq ft-1,779 sq. ft.) and the other model is a 4 bedroom/3 bath (2,236 sq. ft.) – all exterior styles are described as Plantation, Cottage, Craftsman.
